• Wendy DeSpain brings deep educational expertise and ties to the Plano community. She spent the past 15 years with the Plano Independent School District in leadership roles at both the school and district level. She’s taught math and science, presided over the Principals Association and most recently was the district’s No Child Left Behind coordinator. In her free time Wendy enjoys camping, hiking, gardening and bike riding with her husband, a native of Plano, and their three children.

Come join us at The Grove School, where learning is an exploration of fun and adventure. We just finished our Dinosaur exhibits of dinosaur caves, dinosaur roars, dinosaur fossil dig, dinosaur games, stories and songs.
Our new adventure will take us through the cold of Winter with, mittens, a cozy winter setting and things needed for the winter including Grandma’s rocking chair and hot chocolate.

Wendy is our Head of School in Plano, TX. She has deep community ties, having spent 15 years with the Plano ISD in various teaching, administrative and leadership roles. In addition to her zeal for helping children learn, Wendy enjoys being in the great outdoors with her family.
